As of Monday 2nd May 2022, the hospital labs will only accept requests for urine analysis if the urine is received in a yellow-cap Monovette tube. Any requests received with a plain white top universal container will not be processed.
Patients will no longer be given white top universal containers for urine samples by the surgery.

Reception staff will also be able to give guidance on how to use the new collection system.
